REOS spotlight: Recruitment patterns for entry level vacancies

Jobs and Skills Australia has released a Recruitment Experiences and Outlook Survey (REOS) spotlight on entry level vacancies. Data from the REOS offers unique insights into employer’s demand for entry level workers by collecting data on whether they require applicants to have workplace experience or not.

This month’s spotlight uses data covering the first half of 2023 and looks at entry level job opportunities and is broken down by the level of education usually required for the position (skill level), as well as by industry and occupation. We also explore employers’ recruitment difficulties for entry level workers and successful job seekers.
