Recruitment difficulty remains at a high level. While not quite at the peak like mid-2022, the difficulty employers are having recruiting staff has been increasing throughout 2023.
A lack of applicants and importantly, suitable applicants, remains a cause of concern for employers. Employers are also increasingly reporting that they think undesirable working conditions are a reason for struggling to recruit staff.
Employers continue to have vacancies remain unfilled for long periods of time.
